Basic Characteristics:
GSM-BGS5-232 or GSM-BGS5-485 is a GSM/GPRS modem with JAVA in a metal aluminium case, which is suitable for installation into a control cabinet. The modem has two communication ports - USB mini and either serial port RS232 (only Tx, Rx without control signals) or RS485. Futhermore the modem has 1x digital input, 1x digital output and HW watchdog, which is monitoring a communication and can restart GSM modul. HW watchdog obtains pulses from JAVA program. For power supply/activation of input is possible to use internal battery (pins are on the input connector). You can run your own Java program in this BGS5 modem. The modem is equipped with a GSM modul BGS5 Gemalto.
