Description

FBs-PEP (Parameter Entry Panel) is a graphical OLED display with 8 buttons for comfortable viewing and changing parameters inside the PLC FATEK (for example, temperature is 25 ° C). The display is intended for incorporation into equipment panel. To the PLC is coneccted to port 0, where is routed "+5 VDC" too, intended for the power supply the panel.

It also contains functions for reporting alarms. Working with PEP is based on a multi-level menu. Distribution parameters to different levels of menu you can easier to users orientation in these parameters. At any time, you only see one parameter.

PEP uses a matrix OLED display 128 x 96 pixels, giving a perfect visibility and the ability to display letters of national alphabets (e.g. Czech). PEP Programming is done using a special tool PEP Designer, which is free to download a ful version here. This tool can not only design a menu, but also simulate and test before transferring to the PEP. The simulation can be done in the "online" when the serial port on a PC connected to a PLC FATEK. The window on the PC then function as a display and buttons are operated by a mouse click. PEP´s Properties so you can fully test before you purchase.

Notice

User program to PEP panel can not be uploaded directly from a PC, but you need FATEK PLC with two serial ports! The second communication port on the PLC is only needed for recording (download) the panel PEP. For normal operation, it is no needed. The simplest solution is to use a single communication expansion boards like !!!unknown command 'LINK '!!!, embedded in FBs series PLC. To upload (download) can also use a completely different set of PLC before the PEP panel will be used.
